FIRST, LET’S MAKE SENSE OF ORAL CARE

Small daily habits matter.
So does knowing what a product can do.

01 / THE EVERYDAY PROBLEM

Plaque can build up again.

Plaque is a film of bacteria on teeth. Over time, it can harden into tartar. That is why oral care is an ongoing routine, even after a professional cleaning.

02 / THE FOUNDATION

Brushing still has a job.

Brushing physically removes plaque. A food powder does not brush the teeth or replace a veterinary dental examination or cleaning.

03 / THE MEALTIME ADDITION

One step you can remember.

Healthy Woof is given with food. It is designed as an oral-care supplement that fits alongside the care your veterinarian recommends.

Dental-care background: American Veterinary Medical Association.

LOOK INSIDE THE JAR

Clear ingredients.
Amounts you can actually read.

Here is the formula listed on our supplied medium-jar label. One scoop is 2 g. The amounts below are per scoop, not per jar.

Per 2 g scoop

Kelp Ascophyllum nodosum (algae)
330 mg
Bactase PET™ Enzyme blend
55 mg
Cellulase
30 mg
Green tea extract Decaffeinated
20 mg

Also listed: beef bone broth powder, brewer’s yeast and natural bacon flavor.

These four amounts do not add up to the full 2 g scoop; the label also lists the ingredients above without individual amounts.

Open the complete label PDF ↗
330 mg / scoop

Kelp: the seaweed ingredient

The label identifies the species as Ascophyllum nodosum. This seaweed has been studied in canine oral-care products. The research context and its limits are explained below.

55 mg / scoop

Bactase PET™: a blend of enzymes

The label lists amylase, protease, glucose oxidase, beta-glucanase, amyloglucosidase, lysozyme, protease NK and papain. An ingredient list tells you what is included; it does not, by itself, establish how much plaque a finished product will remove.

30 mg / scoop

Cellulase: included with the kelp

The label describes this enzyme’s intended role as helping break down kelp’s cell wall. That describes the formulation’s purpose, rather than a promise that it will dissolve tartar.

20 mg green tea / scoop

Green tea, broth and flavor

Decaffeinated green tea extract is included in the formula. Beef bone broth powder and natural bacon flavor give it a savory flavor profile. Individual dogs can have different preferences.

A FAIR QUESTION: WHY A SEAWEED POWDER?

Why kelp? Follow the evidence.

  1. 01

    A clean starting point

Dogs first received professional dental cleaning.

  2. 02

    Two groups compared

Treats with Ascophyllum nodosum versus placebo treats.

  3. 03

    Less buildup recorded

The kelp-treat group had less plaque and calculus accumulation.

Ingredient research ≠ a Healthy Woof clinical trial

The study tested a different product. It does not establish the results or timeline for Healthy Woof.

This was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study. Sharing an ingredient does not prove that a different formula will produce the same effect.

Our practical promise here is clear product information and an easy-to-follow routine. We do not promise overnight tartar removal or a replacement for brushing.

AT YOUR DOG’S NEXT MEAL

Measure. Add to food. Make it a habit.

STEP 1

Check the serving.

Use the included scoop and follow the amount for your dog’s weight on the current jar. One scoop contains 2 g.

STEP 2

Choose how to serve.

Sprinkle directly on food once daily. The label also allows rehydrating in 8 oz of warm water and feeding directly or with food. Use within 30 minutes of rehydrating.

STEP 3

Keep the routine consistent.

The supplied label recommends a minimum of 12 weeks of use. This is a usage recommendation, not a guaranteed result date. Give with food to reduce stomach upset.

Before the first scoop

For dogs only. Use with caution in dogs with hyperthyroidism. Safety in pregnant or breeding animals has not been established. If your dog’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop use and consult your veterinarian. This is a supplement, not a complete diet.

Keep the jar out of reach of children and animals. Store tightly capped in a cool, dry place.

BUY THE AMOUNT YOUR DOG WILL USE

60 scoops does not always mean 60 days.

Your dog’s serving determines how long a jar lasts. Select the scoop amount from your current label to estimate supply.

Weight guide on the supplied label

2–25 lb: 1 scoop daily · 25–50 lb: 2 scoops daily · 50+ lb: 3 scoops daily.

The printed ranges overlap at 25 and 50 lb. If your dog is exactly at a boundary, ask us or your veterinarian to confirm the serving. This calculator estimates supply; it does not prescribe a dose.

Considering two jars every two months? That is about a 60-day supply at two scoops a day, about 120 days at one, or 40 days at three. Choose a refill schedule that matches actual use.

LET’S ANSWER THE QUESTIONS THAT MATTER

Before you decide.

Will this remove existing tartar or replace brushing?

Do not rely on a food supplement to remove established tartar. Brushing and veterinary dental care have different roles. Healthy Woof is an addition to the routine your veterinarian recommends, not a replacement.

How soon should I expect a change?

The supplied label recommends at least 12 weeks of use. That does not mean every dog will have a visible change by week 12. We do not have a finished-product clinical study here that establishes a guaranteed timeline. Persistent bad breath or discomfort deserves veterinary attention.

Is this a complete list of the ingredients?

The supplied label lists kelp, Bactase PET™, cellulase and decaffeinated green tea extract, plus beef bone broth powder, brewer’s yeast and natural bacon flavor. The formula table above reproduces the stated per-scoop amounts. Check the complete label for the jar you receive, especially if your dog has dietary restrictions.

What if my dog is a picky eater?

The formula includes beef bone broth powder and natural bacon flavor, but no food appeals to every dog. A one-time single-jar order lets you start without an automatic refill commitment. It is not a promise of a free trial; review the linked return policy before ordering.

Can I use it for an older dog or a dog on medication?

Age alone does not establish whether a supplement is appropriate. Share the full label with your veterinarian if your dog has a medical condition, takes medication or follows a special diet. The label specifically cautions about hyperthyroidism and states that safety in pregnant or breeding animals has not been proven.

Does ordering one jar sign me up for a subscription?

No. Every pack on this page is a one-time purchase. You will not be enrolled in a subscription or charged for automatic refills.

What about delivery and returns?

Shipping is free to U.S. addresses. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before payment. Read the linked shipping and return policies for eligibility and conditions. If you need clarification before ordering, contact Healthy Woof.

How should I store the powder?

Keep it in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed. Keep it out of reach of children and animals. The label notes that natural color variation may occur. Use rehydrated powder within 30 minutes.
